Using Spam Assassin correctly will help to eliminate a sizeable portion of your spam emails.

The trick is to configure Spam Assassin in such a way as to have all your spam deleted  - as opposed to saving it in the spam box.

The first step is to log into your cPanel and click on the MAIL icon.

You should now be looking at the Mail sub-menu. Click on the link which say's "Spam Assassin"

This will bring you into the Spam Assassin area.

Next - click on the "Enable Spam Assassin" button.

Once Spam Assassin is enabled, click on the "Go Back" link.

You'll note that Spam Assassin now shows as being enabled.

Now - click on the "click here" link as shown below:

You have just set up Spam Assassin and configured it to immediately delete any emails which it has flagged as spam.
